Connecting is the only step. If you are new to Lovelace, you create your account inside the sign-in window.

The Lovelace plugin for Claude Code is not available yet. Until it is, connect Lovelace in Claude or ChatGPT.

Ask for private AI in Claude Code, Cowork, or Codex, for example “Set up private AI”, and your assistant sets it up.

Private AI does not run in a browser chat, in Claude Code on the web, or in a Codex cloud task, because those run on someone else's computer.
Lattice reads your files and does the work on your computer. What you type into the chat is still seen by the assistant you are chatting with.

You sign in inside a Lovelace window. Your assistant never asks for or sees your password.
Nothing is sent to Lovelace until you connect.
After you connect, your assistant sends Lovelace only what you ask it to save or search, and the tasks you hand to a Lovelace agent.
Your assistant asks before saving personal details, such as health or money matters, and never saves passwords or card numbers.
Lattice on a computer that is not linked to a Lovelace account sends nothing off that computer.
